The National Day holiday is always an exciting time for me. It’s a chance to take a break from schoolwork and spend some quality time with my family. This year, we decided to stay close to home and explore the beautiful countryside around our city.
One of the highlights of the holiday was visiting a small village nestled in the hills. The air was fresh and clean, and the scenery was breathtaking. We went on long walks through the fields, breathing in the crisp autumn air. There were also opportunities to meet friendly locals who shared stories about their way of life.
Another memorable moment was attending a local festival. It was filled with music, dance, and traditional crafts. I even tried my hand at making pottery, which turned out to be much harder than it looked! The experience gave me a deeper appreciation for the rich cultural heritage of our country.
Of course, no holiday would be complete without delicious food. We enjoyed a variety of local dishes, each more flavorful than the last. My favorite was a hearty stew made with fresh vegetables and tender meat, cooked slowly over an open flame.
As the holiday drew to a close, I felt refreshed and recharged. It was a wonderful opportunity to slow down, connect with nature, and celebrate the simple joys of life. I look forward to many more National Day holidays in the future, each one bringing new adventures and cherished memories.
