Hello! My name is Lily, and I am in Grade 5. This year has been full of fun and learning for me. One of my favorite things to do is reading books. Books take me to different worlds and help me learn new things every day.

Last weekend, I went to the library with my mom. There were so many books there that I didn’t know where to start! I picked up a storybook about animals because I love learning about them. The book talked about how animals live in the wild and what they need to survive. It was really interesting!

In school, we have been learning about nature too. Our teacher told us that trees are very important for our planet. They give us oxygen to breathe and help keep the air clean. So, I decided to plant a small tree in my backyard. Every morning, I water it and watch it grow. It makes me feel good to know that I am helping the environment.

I also enjoy playing sports during recess. Soccer is my favorite game, and I like playing with my friends. We laugh and run around the playground, which is a great way to stay healthy and happy.
