Monday

Today was a busy day at school. In the morning, I had English class first. Our teacher asked us to write a short paragraph about our favorite food. I wrote about pizza because it’s delicious and I like the cheese on it. The teacher said my sentence structure was good, but I need to use more interesting words.

After English, we had math. It was not too hard, but I made a mistake in one of the problems. I didn’t understand why I got it wrong, so I asked the teacher after class. She explained it again and I finally got it.

In the afternoon, we had PE. We played basketball with the other class. I tried to pass the ball to my friend, but I missed. However, I scored once and felt happy. After that, we had a short break and then went back to the classroom for science. We did an experiment with water and ice. It was fun to see how the ice melted.

At the end of the day, I went home and helped my mom cook dinner. I cut the vegetables and washed the dishes. It was a little tiring, but I felt proud of myself.

I think today was a good day. I learned something new in class and had fun during PE. I hope tomorrow will be just as nice.
